The aim of the bachelor’s thesis is to evaluate the impact of flexible form of employment on motivation and performance in selected company. In the literary research will be topics related to flexible forms of employment and employee mo-tivation discussed in detail. Related literature will also be used in the analytical part of the thesis. The research will contain a questionnaire and a structured in-terview. Based on the analysis of the results, recommendations will be suggested for the area of managerial management and it’s effect on employee performance.

The bachelor thesis focuses on the phenomenon of digital nomadism. In the Czech environment, this is a relatively new trend of combining teleworking and traveling, together with a change in the content of the working day and the lifestyle as such. The aim of the work is, with the help of semi-structured interviews with digital nomads, to clarify the work regime, leisure time, travel and overall their experience with digital nomadism. The theoretical part covers the relationship between the transformation of society and nomadism, and then characterizes the transformational changes in terms of mobility, the transformation of the media landscape and the sphere of work. The practical part evaluates qualitative research with specific nomads who explain aspects of this lifestyle. The outputs of the work can be useful to better illustrate this flexible form of employment from the early 21st century.

5 Reconciliation of professional and family life Abstract This diploma thesis deals with the topic of reconciliation of professional and family life (work-life balance). The topic of harmonization of work and personal life is not new, as every employee had to and has to deal with it to some extent. However it has only become a frequent subject of discussion in recent decades. The times are changing, new technologies are emerging and employees and employers are expecting more and more flexibility from each other. For employees, the issue of work-life balance is thus becoming more and more complex as the line between these two essential spheres of life is becoming more blurred. This thesis focuses on the different legal institutes that are supposed to help better reconcile employees' professional and family life. The first part of this thesis introduces the reader to the whole issue of work-life balance, provides a brief insight into the history of this topic, and draws attention to the unequal position of men and women in this context. The first chapter also sets out the legal framework for reconciliation at the international, European, and national levels. The diploma thesis on The issue of home office in the selected company in terms of the advantages and the disadvantages working from home aims to analyze and identify the advantages and the disadvantages of home office and propose a suitable procedure for motivating employees to use home office in a selected organization. The thesis is divided into theoretical and practical parts. The theoretical part of the thesis is based on the study of literature and other available sources and summarizes the basic concepts and knowledge in this area. The return to work of women after parental leave

SUMARRY The focus of this dissertation is the return to work of women after parental leave. The paper explores the topic of maternity and parental leave and care required by pre-school children. It further looks at the current employment status of these women on the job market, along with the offer of flexible forms of employment. The current situation in the Czech Republic is compared to other countries, mainly member states of the European Union. An empirical study based on a questionnaire survey is also a part of this paper. This survey examines the situation of a number of female employees of VZP ČR on parental leave as well as their managers and employees after return to work from parental leave. Based on the results of the survey, this paper proposes a programme, which should help female employees of VZP ČR with a smoother transition while returning to work.

Flexible forms of employment This diploma thesis deals with the flexible forms of employment as an alternatives to regular form of employment. The focus of the first two chapters is to determine the basic terms regarding the topic of this thesis; the following chapter concentrates on the flexible forms of employment regulated by Czech law in particular, i.e. Fixed-term contract, part-time job, homeworking, agreements on work carried out beyond employment and agency employment. In the scope of introduction of the particular flexible forms of employment this thesis in detail deals with the Czech law regulation of these forms of employment and follows up their benefits and drawbacks to the parties of the before mentioned agreements. The thesis briefly mentions some legal issues besides the labor law, especially the issues from fields of the social security law and the tax law.

Flexible forms of employment Abstract The purpose of this thesis is to map the flexible forms of employment currently offered by the Czech legislation as well as those that might possibly become part of the legal system in the Czech Republic. Flexible forms of employment are currently on the rise, and it is therefore relevant to address the possibilities offered by the legislation. Part one focuses on defining the basic terms of the legal and theoretical framework of flexible forms of employment and in this context also the importance of flexicurity as a concept that has shaped the forms of flexible employment in the recent years. Second part of the thesis describes the specific forms of employment in terms of their legal regulation and what challenges are associated with the use of each individual form of flexible employment, furthermore this part explores aspects of flexibility that can be found within these types flexible employment.
